1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to MilleWalk. By downloading, installing, or using the MilleWalk mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Vinoth Krishnamurthy, trading as Elated Studio ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

MilleWalk is a virtual treadmill walking app that lets users walk curated real-world city routes from home. The App provides:

• Step counting via device pedometer or speed-based distance calculation (treadmill mode)
• 134 curated walking routes across 80+ cities and 6 continents
• Landmark unlocking with fun facts along each route
• Street View imagery that updates as you walk
• Walk history, achievements, and daily step tracking
• A Smart Walk Planner (premium feature)
• An optional premium subscription for access to all routes and features

3. Free and Premium Access

3.1 Free Tier

MilleWalk is free to download and use. The free tier includes 15 routes across 8 cities (New York, London, Tokyo, Paris, Sydney, Rome, Barcelona, and Singapore), plus all achievements, walk history, and step tracking.

3.2 Premium Subscription

Premium access unlocks all 130+ routes, all Street View content, the Smart Walk Planner, and walk reminders. Available as monthly, quarterly, or yearly subscriptions.

3.3 Subscription Billing

Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. By subscribing you agree to the billing terms of the relevant store. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period. We do not process payments directly.

3.4 India Pricing (INR)

• Monthly: ₹199 per month
• Quarterly: ₹499 per 3 months
• Yearly: ₹999 per year

3.5 Free Trial

We may offer a free trial for premium subscriptions. You will not be charged until the trial ends. Cancel during the trial without charge.

3.6 Cancellation and Refunds

Cancel anytime through the App Store or Play Store. Refunds are subject to Apple or Google's refund policies — we do not process refunds directly.

3.7 Restore Purchases

If you reinstall the app or switch devices, use "Restore Purchase" in the app to restore premium access.

4. Health and Safety Disclaimer

• Step counts and distances are approximate estimates only
• Consult a healthcare professional before starting any new exercise programme
• Do not use MilleWalk as a substitute for medical advice
• We are not responsible for any injury or health outcome from use of the App or treadmill walking
• Always follow the safety guidelines of your treadmill manufacturer

5. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorised purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or extract source code from the App
• Circumvent or tamper with subscription or feature gating
• Interfere with the App's servers or infrastructure

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Rights

The App, including its design, route data, landmark content, and all features, is owned by Vinoth Krishnamurthy, trading as Elated Studio, and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

6.2 Your Licence

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on your personal device for personal, non-commercial purposes.

6.3 Third-Party Content

Street View imagery is sourced from Google Street View. Map data is provided by Mapbox. All third-party content is subject to its respective owner's terms.

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points: all walk and step data is stored locally on your device; we do not collect personal information or require account creation; we use anonymous analytics and crash reporting to improve the App; we do not sell your data.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep MilleWalk available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Some features (maps, Street View) require an internet connection. Step tracking and walk progress continue offline.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

9.1 "As Is" Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

9.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ELATED STUDIO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be communicated via an in-app notice or by updating the date on this page. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Chennai, India.
